Neil Patel – The Littlest Hobo In Winnipeg…….woof

Sometimes I feel like the “Littlest Hobo”. You know, the show where the dog roams around the country helping people, making friends, and then going on his way.

I have now travelled to over 600 businesses across Southern Manitoba – and some online meetings with clients as far as Flintabbatey Flonatin’s home town. But my message is a little different than the lovable german shepherd’s … I’m talking about Internet Marketing. This conversation always leads to the inevitable question – how relevant is Internet Marketing to my business?

The old way of thinking says the Internet is just used for window shopping…that when consumers are ready to buy, they go offline. This just isn’t true anymore. The Internet is no longer just an information exchange platform. It’s a booming sales platform.

Over $100 billion worth of sales took place online last year. That is an outrageous amount of money and the figures are quickly rising every year! – $200 billion will be here very soon.

FACTS:

  • Half the world’s population now has access to the Web.
  • Your customers are spending 25% of their annual income with shopping decisions made through online research.
  • Online sales now exceed 100 billion dollars annually and will exceed 200 billion very soon.
  • 348,000 Manitoban’s spend 30% online is with social media activity like FaceBook and Twitter.
  • Nearly 90% of them find websites through Search Engines like Google and Yahoo.
  • Search Engines drive more than half of online purchases and buying decisions.

The Internet is not a get rich scheme – there is no overnight success but what I can tell you without hesitation is that your business will suffer in the coming years if you do not take action.

So, if you see me walking down the dirt road (in the Littlest Hobo style) -I’m coming to help your business grow and prepare for the adventures of tomorrow’s business world.

woof. woof.
